Description
Elmer D. Merrill discovered Amesiella philippinensis for the first time in 1906 on Mount Halcon in Mindoro, Philippines. It was later found in the mountains of Albay, Benguet, the Mountain Province and Nueva Viscaya in Luzon and the island of Mindoro. It grows epiphytically at heights between 400 and 1,400 meters.

- Water requirement: Medium, water twice a week in summer. Water more carefully in winter, but never let it dry completely. No waterlogging.
