Description
Bulbophyllum acutum is recorded fron Java and Sumatra in Indonesia. in the Philippines it has been found in Bukidnon on Mindanao. It grows as an epiphyte at elevations between 1,000 and 1,400 metres in mossy forest.
Growth habit: upright, sympodial
Flower colour: sepals yellow, with dark red shading centrally; petals deep red; labellumdeep red.
