Description
Pot size: 12 cm
Monstera dubia comes from the tropical rain forest, where the plant winds its way up the trunks. This climbing plant can thrive best at room temperatures all year round.
The minimum temperature is 15°C all year round. During the summer, the window leaf can even be displayed outdoors, as long as a sheltered spot without direct sunlight is available.
Regular watering quenches the plant’s thirst so that the top layer of soil can dry off a bit before the next watering. waterlogging should be avoided.
Increased humidity also ensures a healthy appearance of the plant, so that the Monstera really enjoys the occasional spraying with low-lime water. As an alternative, you can place a bowl filled with water in the immediate vicinity of the plant.
Every few years, in the spring, you should repot your new plant into a slightly larger planter. Use a good quality substrate for this.
