Description
Professor Heinrich G. Reichenbach named this pretty species in 1860, in Hamburger Garten- Blumenzeitung. He named the plant after Consul Schiller, the first person in Europe to bloom this very floriferous species.
Is endemic to the Philippines. It grows at elevations of up to 800 metres as an epiphyte. Temperate to warm in cultivation (17-24 degree celsius)
Growth habit: upright, monopodial.
Flower colour: Pink
Watering: Once a week, more in hot summer.
Fertilizing: Once every two weeks during active growth with a low concentration.
Young plant in 9 cm pot.
