Description
Vanda javierae was named after Mrs. Alicia Javier, an Orchid nursery proprietor in the Philippines.
This specie is endemic to a very small area in the mountains of Pangasinan in Central Luzon. It grows as epiphyte at an elevation of about 1,200 metres usually close to water.
Growth Habit: Upright, Monopodial.
Flower colour: pure white, the labellum has some pale pinkish-brown marking on its base.
- Young tiny plants offered in 5,5 cm pot.
- Water twice a week with a low concentration of fertilizer.
- Bright light but avoid direct sunlight.
