Description
Professor Oakes Ames and Dr. Eduardo Quisumbing named this variety in 1933, in the Philippine Journal of Science. The varietal epithet honours Mrs. Remedios C. Gonzales, who flowered first the specimen in Manila.
This variety has almost white segments with the inner half of the lateral sepals being greenish, the labelum is pale purple.
This specie is endemic to the Philippines and it grows as an epiphyte at an elevation of up to 300 metres.
- Offered as young plants in 9 cm pots.
- Water thoroughly once a week with low concentration of fertilizer
- Warm growing epiphyte. Bright light but avoid direct sun exposure.
