Description
- Coelogyne asperata is widely distributed being found in Peninsular Malaysia, Indonesia, Borneo, New Guinea. and Philippines.
- It grows as an epiphyte and lithophyte, often close to creeks at elevations up to 800 meters.
- Growth habit: Upright, sympodial.
- Leaves: oblanceolate,up to 60 cm by 10 cm wide.
- Inflorescences: arching, appear with the new growth and bear up to 15 blooms 6 cm in diameter.
- Flower colour: Creamy white, the labellum is marked with brown and orange.
- Plants are offered in 12 cm Pots
- Strong, flowering size
- Imported from the philippines
- Intermediate to warm in cultivation (14-27 Degree)
- Water twice a week in Sommer and once a week in winter.
- Fertilize only during active growth of the plant (mostly in Sommer) with a low concentration.
